About the "book"

There is no guide or how-to on writing an "Adventure Game Book". My best teachers were scans of other older game books from the 1980's that I found online. To emulate this older format I have created cover art and inner matter that is not directly linked to the game or story. A false publisher, publication date, even back matter are all created as a form of emulation of these older book formats. So when you notice them don't take them as the truth. I have no plans of writing 5 additional books and as of the time I wrote it there was no ISAC system not even in abbreviation.

Adventure game books of the 1980's had the goal of simulating the feeling of playing a tabletop role playing game, but as a solitary experience.

Since my copies are digital, I've had the chance to play them on a computer, or by using an e-reader as though they were a book.

Using a printed out character sheet, maps, etc and tossing around a few dice goes a long way to capturing that magical sensation.

I highly suggest it.
